Announcing the Ika Network Public Testnet and Incentivized Testnets
Today we announce the launch of the Ika Network public testnet and incentivized testnets — a key milestone in our journey towards redefining access control and secure multi-chain interoperability.
Ika Network Testnet
This phase invites developers, builders, and node operators to explore the innovative features of dWallets within a test environment. The focus is on gathering feedback, identifying bugs, and ensuring network robustness.
The testnet demonstrates how dWallets address the "Silo Problem" by enabling secure, native multi-chain interoperability without compromising on decentralization or user sovereignty.
Incentivized Testnets
We plan on rolling out incentivized testnets in the coming months with rewards for participants helping stress test the network. Node operators are encouraged to apply.
Work in Progress
The alpha testnet currently has known bugs and no state proofs available yet. Developers can experiment and provide feedback. An Ethereum light client launch is imminent, with plans extending support to many more networks.
